Glo Armmer hails from San Antonio, TX and is a product of Sam Houston High School. She co-hosts 2nd Verse. Along with taping for HBO’s Russell Simmons’ Def Poetry in 2003, she has opened for performers such as Rickey Smiley, Mo’Nique, Yolanda Adams, Patti LaBelle, and Mary J. Blige, to name a few.
Andrea ‘VOCAB’ Sanderson has featured with performance art at: DePauw, Cameron, Trinity, and Rice University. She serves as a Writer In the Community for Gemini Ink & Barrio Writers, co-hosts: 2nd Verse, Jazz & Poetry with a Purpose, and Fresh Ink Youth Slam. She has an album ‘Sessions In Flight’ (available on iTunes.) Her poetry is published in The Texas Observer, January 2016 Issue, Pariah Anthology SFA Press, March 2016, and Sycorax's Daughters Cedar Grove Publishing, January 2017.
Jason ‘Shaggy’ Gossard is the slam master of Puro Slam, held at the Korova every Tuesday in San Antonio, TX. Puro Slam was established in1999. He is an author of several literary works available on Amazon.com and he an elementary school educator.
Anthony M. Flores is a poet, actor, and arts activist from San Antonio, TX. He has been performing his work throughout the United States for the past eight years. From bars to college auditoriums, from backyards to the stage of H.B.O.’s Def Poetry Jam in New York City, Mr. Flores has brought his theatrical style of poetry to many different kinds of audiences.

Faylita Hicks As the visionary behind Arrondi Creative Productions and as a member of the Grid Squid Entertainment collective, Faylita Hicks has used her poetic voice and dynamic performances to influence and inspire thousands around the country through poetry and music. She is currently pursuing her MFA in Creative Writing at Sierra Nevada College and working on her next EP, tentatively titled Reclamation.
3AM is the musical brain child of three biological brothers Korey Davison, Sallie Davison and Kenneth Davison Sr. These 3 Texas State University students channel their signature fusion of Jazz, Funk and Soul pouring it into each musical performance. With influences from the likes of Kirk Whalum, Stevie Wonder and Quincy Jones, their debut recording “Gigadream” highlights the maturity and musical genius of this contemporary Jazz Trio.
