Soloist Ana María Martínez is a Grammy Award winning vocalist, considered to be one of the foremost sopranos of her time. She leads the orchestra in a beautiful program put together specifically to celebrate San Antonio and its 300th Anniversary. Featuring Falla, Albéniz, and selected zarzuela arias, the program is sure to be the perfect way to celebrate this great city.
In 2017-18, Maestro Sebastian Lang-Lessing returns to lead the San Antonio Symphony in a season commemorating the 300th anniversary of our great city with a festival to match the occasion. The Tricentennial Festival will feature Beethoven’s Eroica, Ellington’s The Three Black Kings, Elgar’s Enigma Variations, and so much more!
