R. L. Hayden will release his 11th album, “Texas Songwriter”, on May 17, 2019. Hayden is set to headline the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts for a second time, for the album release on May 17 at 8 p.m.
This album features songs written with Bubba Strait, Aaron Watson, Kevin Fowler, Robert Earl Keen, and Bill Whitbeck, as well as old Texas favorites such as Gary P. Nunn’s “What I Like About Texas” and a new San Antonio anthem titled, “A Night in San Antonio (The Enchilada Song)”.
Hayden is a true Texas legend in the making. With 20 years of making music under his belt, his stories and songs are sure to bring a smile to your face and sometimes a tear to your eye. In this performance Hayden celebrates all that is Texas in a rousing acoustic show that will leave you singing all the way home.
