Emilio Crixell, Hilda Lamas, Ron Harrington, and Reno Perez have all received widespread critical acclaim and has won praise from the blues community. They will all take center stage for the Summer Blues Fest... One Night, One Show, One Incredible Stage Presentation.
Emilio Crixell, with three albums to his credit “ One Road House Away” “The Blues had a Baby” and "Music People”, is one of the top Blues Recording Artists in the State of Texas. His live performances has been winning over fans every time he takes the stage. With a fiery mix of original tunes and inspired covers which features plenty of soars incendiary fretwork, you will be entertained from start to finish.
Hilda Lamas's live shows consist of blues originals as well as the best blues and soul covers. Hilda's album, “ Love Me Alone,” quickly topped the charts reaching the #1 spot for 9 straight weeks. When you hear her rendition of Etta James classic “ I Rather Go Blind” it always leaves the audiences breathless. She is also considered and named one of the top Latina Blues Singers in Southwest Texas.
Ron Harrington started his musical journey in Harrisburg PA. After serving honorably in the US Navy until 1976. Ron returned to his roots to hone in on his unique vocal abilities and mastered the ability to play multiple instruments including bass, guitar, keyboards, flute and saxophone. He now tours extensively as a blues and soul artist. Ron continues to “WOW” audiences with his smooth as silk style reminiscent of the late Sam Cooke and Otis Redding.
Reno Perez, vocalist and guitarist, has charted three top 5 singles in the United States including a Spanish language version of “ Brown Eyed Girl”. Reno has toured and shared the stage with blues icons like the late Bobby Blue Bland, Rocky Benton and Pinetop Perkins. The multi-talented musician has also written and performed in national commercials for Miller Lite and Pepsi Cola.
