Bexar County Arts Internship Program

Much of our work is best seen in the schools and among the students.  We aim to enrich what happens in the classroom and provide art experiences outside of the classroom as well.

Generation NEXT facilitates Bexar County’s art internship grant program which provides grants to ten Bexar County non-profit arts organizations for use in hiring a community college or college/university student as a summer intern.

We are accepting applications from Bexar County non-profit arts organizations interested in receiving a grant to hire a summer intern. More information and an application can be found here.

To be considered as an intern, applicants must meet the following guidelines:

• Be a Bexar County resident (may attend school outside of the county)
• Completed at least one semester at a community college, college, or university
• Enrolled and attending classes in the Spring 2022 semester
• Not have earned a bachelor’s degree or higher before June 2022
