The Tobin Center for the Performing Arts is a dazzling architectural treasure for the city’s downtown landscape. With its state-of-the-art acoustics and flexible orchestra floor, incredible in-house catering, and cutting-edge designs, The Tobin Center is ranked as one of the best places anywhere to host your next show-stopping performance, meeting, or event. The Tobin Center offers unique spaces for private events ranging from 2 to 3,000 guests. Our indoor and outdoor venues offer versatility and comfort. The Tobin Center is situated along the historic San Antonio River and boasts an outdoor River Walk Plaza with river barge access from the heart of downtown up the museum reach river expansion to the Pearl Brewery.

Event Management and Planning

Our events team includes sales staff, a catering manager and event managers. The team will work with you prior to your event to coordinate planning details within our venue, facilitate outside vendors and plan your menu and beverage service. The event manager serves as your on-site point of contact the day of your event and is responsible for the management of the entire venue team. Your event manager will oversee operations and assist vendors within the venue, as well

Production and A/V

The Tobin Center has an in-house technical team and is an IATSE Union facility. Audio, Video and Lighting is not included in the rental rate. The use of available and in stock equipment is complimentary.

Parking

The Tobin Center offers several options for event parking to accommodate the needs of your guests. Conveniently located at 227 4th Street, the Tobin Center Parking Garage offers ample space for your guests. Additionally, for added convenience and a touch of luxury, Valet Parking services are available for an additional fee. The option to rent golf carts is also available to escort your guests to the venue.

Weddings

Wedding rehearsals for the ceremony may be booked for 1 hour at $250.00 and will be scheduled for a mutually agreeable timeframe no more than 4 weeks ahead of the event.

Additional Information

Set up inventory includes 66” rounds, 36” adjustable height cocktail tables, resin mahogany chiavari chairs, black padded mahogany folding chairs, black folding chairs, and rectangular tables upon request (based on availability). Event availability is based on the programming calendar. Please check with your representative to verify venue and date availability times. Additional hours of rental may be added at 10 percent per hour of the rental rate.
