Tobin Cares

Tobin Cares is a staff initiative for community outreach.  The mission of Tobin Cares is to give back to the community in need through community service programs/projects. 

This group, comprised of Tobin Center staff, board members, and volunteers, dedicates its efforts to volunteering at other non-profit organizations throughout the area. The purpose of Tobin Cares is to extend the spirit of collaboration and support beyond the arts, by contributing to the well-being and development of our community through direct action and volunteerism.

As a bridge between The Tobin Center and various community organizations, Tobin Cares focuses on making a positive impact outside the traditional boundaries of the performing arts. This initiative not only reinforces The Tobin Center's role as a community partner but also highlights our dedication to fostering a culture of service and philanthropy among our staff, board members, and volunteers. Through Tobin Cares, the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts demonstrates our commitment to nurturing the community that surrounds us, reinforcing the importance of unity, support, and giving back to the people of San Antonio.
