Three finalists of The Gurwitz 2024 International Piano Competition each perform a piano concerto with the Mexico City Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of orchestra director and renowned violinist Scott Yoo. An esteemed jury panel will then choose the Gold ($30,000), Silver ($20,000), and Bronze ($10,000) medalists. The Mexico City Philharmonic Orchestra will cover artistic fees in a partnership celebrating the “Friendship Cities” relationship formed in 2019 between San Antonio and Mexico City.
