Experience traditional mariachi music with young and talented vocalists during the Mariachi Extravaganza Summer Recital. Participants from the annual Mariachi Extravaganza National Vocal Competition and summer camp will showcase their talents in a fun-filled evening packed with beautiful group and solo performances.
The Mariachi Extravaganza Summer Recital is a culmination of the weeklong Mariachi Extravaganza Summer Vocal Camp where seasoned and aspiring vocalists hone their skills in mariachi voice with celebrity vocal instructors. The camp is an extension of the Mariachi Extravaganza best known for attracting top-tier talent in its highly competitive national group and vocal competitions held annually in San Antonio in December.
Accompanying the vocalist will be the award-winning Mariachi Los Paisanos from the University of Texas San Antonio. Mariachi Los Paisanos has been recognized as one of the top 3 groups in the nation among colleges and universities with mariachi music programs.
