Grammy-nominated and Dove Award-winning country artist Ty Herndon has maintained a three-decade career defined by chart-topping hits and public advocacy. He made his solo debut in 1995 with the #1 single "What Mattered Most," launching a run of 20 Billboard-charted singles and more than five million albums sold worldwide. His catalog includes #1 country hits "Living in a Moment" and "It Must Be Love," along with top-ten singles like "I Want My Goodbye Back," "Loved Too Much," and "Hands of a Working Man."
In 2014, Herndon became the first major male country artist to publicly come out as gay. Following his announcement, he founded the Concert For Love & Acceptance to support mental health, addiction recovery, and LGBTQ+ inclusion within country music. His recent projects include his 2022 album JACOB, his memoir What Mattered Most, and his 2025 career retrospective album THIRTY.
